It is difficult to find objective news on biofuels policy. There are some excellent biofuels technical resources, but these are sometimes tainted regarding policy due to government grants. Many journalists are not properly trained to address more complex technical issues and global implications. Few journalists are trained in science. Journalists are often trained to advocate a point of view, instead of objective reporting. These resources are provided for you to skeptically review

WSJ Jan 2008 The University of California at Berkeley’s Transportation Sustainability Research Center told the California Air Resources Board that ethanol could be twice as bad as gasoline, from a carbon-emissions point of view.
